Adorable tot born with full head of jet black hair looks like Agnes from Despicable Me

Meet the adorable baby who was born with a full head of jet black hair and bears a striking resemblance to Despicable Me character Agnes.

Primrose Autumn Loveridge loves nothing more than having her thick mane blow dried and collapses into fits of giggles whenever mum Beccy May Cooper, 29, switches the hairdryer on.

The eight month old tot is now a brand rep for 20 companies who send her bows and hairbands to accessorise her luscious locks.

The tot, who insists on holding her own hair brush when having her tresses preened, turns heads wherever she goes out – and has started courting attention during trips to the supermarket.

Singer Beccy, from Somerset, said: “Her nickname is Posy because she loves to pose in her pictures.

“Her hair just keeps growing. When you brush it out it’s about six inches long.

“She gets so much attention when we go out.

“If you just nip to the shop you end up being there for an hour because people just stop and start talking about it.

“They say they’ve never seen a baby with so much hair. Especially the older generation – they can’t believe it.

“Primrose laps it up, when we go out she looks for people to talk to her. She’s always on the lookout for people to say hello to her. She’s adorable.

“Someone once held her hand and she just held onto them and wouldn’t let them go.

“We joke that she looks like Agnes from Despicable Me. She’s so like her in personality as well.

“She’s so squeaky and excitable all the time, she’s such a happy bubbly baby and she’s so talkative.

“People also say she looks like a Cabbage Patch doll which makes me laugh.”

Beccy said she and shop worker fiancé Andrew Loveridge, 24, couldn’t believe it when Primrose was born with a full head of jet black hair.

Beccy said: “We weren’t expecting it at all.

“We don’t know where she got it from because Andrew and I had very little when we were younger and my fiancée already has a receding hair line.

“She has a couple of cousins with really long, beautiful hair but that’s it.

“The first thing my mum said when she was born was ‘I can’t believe her hair’. It was jet black and there was so much of it.

“I had heard that if you have heartburn during a pregnancy that could mean a hairy baby but I had none of that.

“The colour has changed to a lovely auburn now and in the sun it looks like she’s got highlights.

“When I’ve washed it I try to flick it up but it’s so long now it won’t stand up anymore, it just falls down.

“We wash it every other day and we always use Childs Farm shampoo. It makes her hair lovely and shiny.

“I used to use a soft brush but now I’m using a comb because it gets quite knotty when she’s sleeping.

“When I brush it she has to hold her own brush in her hands, she’s such a character.

“Every couple of weeks we give her a cool blow dry.

“She absolutely loves it, as soon as the hairdryer is switched on she starts bouncing up and down and giggling – it’s hilarious.

“When she sits watching telly she curls her hair around her tiny little fingers. I think it’s a comfort for her.

“I like to put it up in little pigtails or a pony tail so it looks like a pineapple.

“We’ve not taken her to the hairdressers yet. When she turns one we’re planning on taking her for her first trim.

“I think she’ll be excited about it as she loves doing anything.

“We’re not planning to cut it too much, just give her a trim.”

Sassy Primrose is now a brand rep for companies such as Too Much Cute UK, Baby Haute Couture, 4 Trendy Kids and Eco Brat, who send her clothes and hair accessories which she models in adorable pictures on social media.

Beccy said: “I put some pictures up and was contacted by a couple of brands who asked if she could model their clothes.

“It started from there and now she’s a brand rep for around 20 companies.

“We get sent a lot of hair bands and bows. She’s got a big Primrose plaque that holds all her hair accessories.

“She loves it when we do little photoshoots. I usually take pictures every day after dressing her and she really enjoys it.

“When the camera is on she’s grinning away and kicking her little legs in the air. She tires herself out and then falls asleep where she is on the carpet.

“The clothes we’re sent are always really beautiful and colourful. She’s mesmerised by patterns, she stares at them and touches them.

“She’s a little diva and has me in stitches every day.

“I think she’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. I wake up every day and stare at her thinking ‘I can’t believe she’s mine’.

“I’d always dreamed of having a little girl and being able to dress her up. She’s just perfect.”
