Inventive movie lover producers an out of this world star wars proposal, as he gets down on obi-wan knee
During the adverts as they await to watch a showing of Indiana Jones, Austin nervously crouches behind the back-row seats, clutching a small box as he waits for his custom-made Star Wars trailer to play.
Suddenly, to the shock of Alison, her boyfriend of five years appears onscreen from the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon, dressed as Han Solo, reminiscing about his favourite memories together.
Announcing that he can’t wait to spend the rest of his life with her in ‘this galaxy and the next’, suddenly Austin emerges at the end of the aisle, brandishing a shimmering diamond ring as he gets down on one knee.
Austin said: “It took months to put together, with multiple times of waking up at 4am and sneaking out, but it was all worth it.
“We met in the gym of our apartment block five years ago, and I’ve known that she’s the one ever since.
“We both love watching films together, we go every week, so I saw it as the perfect place to pop the question.
“Star Wars is our favourite film, during our first year together, we both dressed up as Han and Leia, so I thought it would be best to dust off the old costume.
“I was shaking waiting for the trailer that I’d made to come on, because in all the rehearsals, something had gone wrong.
“But thankfully it all worked, acting as a testament to our relationship that everything is meant to be.
“We’re so excited for our future together.”
Vlad Leto, of 007 Proposals, who helped to film the surprise, said: “I’ve been involved with marriage proposal photography since 2011.
“It’s a fantastic thing to be a part of.
“It’s such a good feeling to help two people come together in the most special of ways.”
