Kindhearted fast food restaurant manager provides homeless man with a meal rather than giving him the boot
A kindhearted fast food restaurant manager has chosen to befriend and feed a homeless man rather than move him along – much to the approval of the scores of people who since witnessed footage of the loving moment.
Christopher James, 32, captured the footage as restaurant manager Meredith kneeled down, eye-to-eye with the gentleman, before shacking his hand and providing him with a complimentary meal and drink.
Following the gesture, the manager – whose surname is unknown and has only been identified by her first name on social media – then engaged in a conversation with the down-on-his-luck visitor.
Sat outside of the Bowling Green, Kentucky, USA, restaurant, accompanied with a boombox and a stack of CDs, the individual was technically breaking the company policy by soliciting patrons of Chick-fil A, ignoring a sign pinned to the chains doors highlighting this policy.
Good Samaritan Meredith, however, who is favored by her frequent diners due to her consistent courteous and kindhearted nature, decided to forgo these rules, helping the man for what would become a wildly viral clip.
Comments also soon came flooding in, claiming that this was not out of character for the fast food restaurant manager.
