Student determined to real life elf spends $12k (£9.5k) on surgery to give him vampire hairline using his own blood to stimulate growth

A student determined to become a REAL-LIFE ELF has spent $12,000 (£9.5k) on surgery to give him a vampiric hairline that uses HIS OWN BLOOD.

Luis Padron, 26, underwent a hair transplant with specialist injections earlier this month in Beverly Hills in California, USA, to help further his dream of becoming a fantasy being.

The procedure that combines implanting over two thousand hair follicles and injecting him with stem cell platelet rich plasma will give him a ‘widows peak’ and stimulate hair growth.

In total, Luis has spent a whopping $47,000 (£36k) trying to achieve his dream after becoming obsessed with the fantasy world from being bullied as a child.

Taking inspiration from Labyrinth and The NeverEnding Story, he’s already had cheek liposuction, a rhinoplasty, skin bleaching, full body hair removal, Botox, fillers and more.

Luis from Buenos Aires, Argentina, said: “All of my surgeries are fantasy-related and I’ve always had a big forehead that bothered me a lot.

“One of the most important parts about being an elf is having long hair, that’s why I decided to reshape my hairline for a more fantasy look and have more hair.

“Because I wasn’t losing my hair three different clinics rejected my application to have the surgery saying I was too young and didn’t have enough blood vessels.

“I found someone who could give me the heart-shape and vampiric hairline I wanted and I had a transplant in my forehead.

“The shape is like Dracula’s hair and using my own blood will make the hair grow healthier.

“The surgery was painless, very fast and he pulled three thousand grafts from the back of my head and transplanted them into my forehead.

“It took five hours but only felt like half an hour, I even slept in the middle because it was that relaxing.

“Because I want to become a fantasy being, one of the most distinctive parts of an elf and other creatures is that they have extremely long hair, look healthy and look very young.

“I’m working on my fantasy face and hair to feel better, with my looks and self to become who I want to be.”

Luis fell in love with the fantasy genre during his early teens, while struggling with bullies who mocked him because he dyed his hair and had an unusual dress sense.

After getting into Cosplay, he became determined to fully transform into a fantasy being and had his first surgery at 20-years-old.

Luis, who studies advertising and marketing, said: “I was bullied as a child and as an escape I would submerge myself in movies like Labyrinth and The NeverEnding Story, as well as other fantasy tales.

“Over time things changed, older teens liked me because I was unique and that’s what encouraged me to start turning what I felt on the inside into a reality.

“I want to be an elf, an angel and a fantasy being, my aim is to look inhuman, ethereal, graceful and delicate – I have my own beauty ideal and want to achieve that no matter what.

“I consider myself trans-species, in the same way transgender people feel, I need to become how I feel inside, I don’t expect people to understand but I ask they respect it.”

Luis says his look attracts a lot of attention and he is happy to explain his transformation plans to strangers.

He added: “People stop me in the street and are very curious about my aesthetic, they are lovely and curious, asking how much I spent, why I do it and give me compliments.

“Many of them just want to take selfies with them, they tell me I look great and am like an elf.”

Luis’ recent hairline surgery was specially made for him by Dr. John Kahen of Beverly Hills Restoration Clinic who performed a follicular unit transfer and stem cell PRP injection.

The surgeon says that injecting Luis’ own blood will help him heal faster, reinforce the new grafts and existing hair follicles making them grow quicker.

He’s expected to be fully healed within six months.

Luis said: “He took my blood and split it in a specialist machine to separate the platelet rich plasma, which was then injected into my head and will make my hair grow even faster than normal.

“Dr. Kahen created this special surgery for me, it takes steps from other surgeries but it is unique because of the way he has performed it.

“I feel very special because not only is my dream being fulfilled but he has created something special just for me, when I recover I will be a good model for others who want this look.”

Luis still has more than $87.5K (£68k) worth of surgery planned including: fang-like dentures made, pointed ears constructed, a v-shaped jawline, nose surgery and more.

He said: “Every surgery I have, I’m one step closer to fulfilling my dream of becoming a fantasy being.

“I understand that I have to make sacrifices right now but once it’s complete I will have fulfilled my dream and accept how I am.

“I want to start 2018 as a fresh person, living their dream so I have plenty more surgeries on the way from permanent vampiric fangs to pointed ears and a v-shaped jawline.”

Luis is part of the Plastics of Hollywood Talent Agency, who are being followed by a TV show that will documenting their antics as they try to find work away from their surgery fame.

Luis said: “I’m the innocent part of the show and am more fantasy related than other plastics who are focussed on becoming more doll-like.

“I have my own target group of young people and those in the cosplay community as well as the live action role play people.

“I don’t care about the fame, I care about achieving my own perception of beauty, which has helped me to achieve a lot.”

He will appear on the show alongside Rodrigo Alves, Pixee Fox, Vinny Ohh, Jennifer Pamplona, Bryan Ray and more.

Marcela Iglesias, manager of the agency, said: At this moment Luis is in the middle of his transformation and we have some surgeries planned to fulfill the Elf look that he always wanted.

“I didn’t have an elf in my doll collection so I thought  he is awesome and I was very intrigued about all his stories and fairy tales that  he would read to me as soon as we met in person.

“Luis Padron has become part of my plastic family a few months ago when we started communicating through social media and he told me his story about achieving a certain look.

“I told him I might be able to help him to fulfill his dreams because it is a passion of me to help other people and I also felt very close to him because he’s from Argentina my own country.

Luis came to my house in Los Angeles and we spent quality time together, and during that time is when I make my final decision to add Luis to my plastic family and also to introduce him to some of my dolls.”
